HIP HOP CLASSES Hip Hop culture began in New York City in the 1970s by African Americans, with Latino American and Jamaican immigrant influence. Hip Hop has emerged globally as an arts movement with the imperative to create something fresh by using technology, speech and the body in new ways. Break dance, Popping and Locking are associated with Hip Hop as part of the dance movement. It is a sport that involves flexible body movement and also physics. The Dance is used as a form of expression, social interaction or performance setting. It may also be regarded as a nonverbal communication between humans.
